'beyond rare'
Perhaps for hundreds of millions of years the tumultuous forces of mother nature were at work creating the world's largest diamond deposit now known as Argyle.
Argyle pink diamonds offer a vibrancy and spectrum of colour not seen in other diamonds, from a pale pink blush to an intense red - and everything in between.
The ultimate pink diamond is not necessarily large - in fact only a very small number of weigh more than one carat. The more intense the hue, tone and saturation of colour the more rare and valuable the pink diamond is.
Each Argyle pink diamond over 0.15cts is laser inscribed with a serial number and is accompanied by a certificate guaranteeing its origin.
With the life expectancy of the Argyle mine being around 2018 the famous pink diamonds will become more and more rare. Not only do these diamonds make beautiful jewellery but they are sure to become collectors items in the future. A small piece of Australia's unique geological history.
