J Farren-Price supports Zero Childhood Cancer Program at The Children’s Cancer Institute’s Diamond Ball

We are very proud to support this year’s Zero Childhood Cancer Program at the Children’s Cancer Institute Diamond Ball, the charity’s main event aimed at fundraising money for terminally ill children with cancer. By donating a J Farren-Price 18ct white gold and diamond necklace worth $27,500.00 we hope to raise a significant sum to put towards their Zero Childhood Cancer program.

The Children’s Cancer Institute and Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network have combined to create one of the most exciting initiatives ever undertaken in Australia to tackle the most serious cases of infant, childhood and adolescent cancer – known as ‘Zero Childhood Cancer’.

The Zero Childhood Cancer clinical trial is showing some very promising results. During the first 12 months of the trial, a personalised treatment plan was able to be recommended for almost 70% of participating children, within an average turnaround time of only 9 weeks from the time their tumour sample was received. And for some, the trial has proven to be a life-saver.
