Patek Philippe Featured Collection

This month we feature a varied collection of Patek Philippe timepieces. We begin with the 5980/1R (above) with its case diameter of 40.5mm is one of the most imposing of all the Patek models.

5140G-001 Perpetual Calendar

In 1985, Patek Philippe ushered in the new era of grand complications by crafting the Ref. 3940, the first highly complicated watch in regular production. Since 2006, the 5140 ultra-thin perpetual calendar , with its perfectly balanced dial, has become one of the workshops’ most popular complicated timepieces.

5200G-010 Gondolo 8 Days

Patek Philippe’s Ref. 5200 Gondolo 8 Days appeals to aficionados who prefer manually wound timepieces.

For this model, the Genevan workshops developed a new calibre that in many respects is reminiscent of the Ref. 5100 “10-Day”. Unlike the 5100, however, the new Gondolo contains innovative Silinvar® components from the “Patek Philippe Advanced Research” think tank for which the manufacture has been granted numerous patents over the past years.
