ENDEAVOUR TOURBILLON CONCEPT VANTABLACK®

Darker than black: H. Moser & Cie. combines its ingenious double hairspring flying tourbillon with the blackest material known to man: Vantablack®. The Endeavour Tourbillon in red gold and Vantablack® dial is the epitome of “less is more”, where the strikingly black dial void of a logo, markers or any embellishment gives way to the hypnotic tourbillon.

Materials

Red gold case. Alligator strap.

Dial

Vantablack® dial. Incorporating the darkest man-made material ever made, the Vantablack® dial is made up of millions of carbon nanotubes which capture 99.965% of light photons. By limiting the light reflections, the dial gives off the impression of a black hole.

Functions

Water resistant to 30 metres. Conceived to counteract the effects of gravity on the watch’s timekeeping precision, the tourbillon is a device in which the regulating organ and escapement are placed, which constantly rotates around a central axis to eliminate any positional errors.

Power Source

Tourbillon automatic. Calibre HMC 804 is an automatic tourbillon movement which counteracts the effects of gravity in two ways: the one-minute flying tourbillon, and the patented double hairspring where two identical hairsprings compensate for any positional errors. Power reserve of approximately 72 hours.

Diameter
